KEENE, NH – A local man was indicted Thursday for allegedly faking a disability to get veteran’s benefits for almost two decades.

According to a news Release from United States Attorney Jane E. Young, District of New Hampshire’s office, between January 2003 and December 2022 Christopher Stultz, 49, of Antrim allegedly falsely represented to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs that he was unable to use both of his feet, and obtained veteran disability efforts that he was not entitled to receive for nearly 20 years.

Stultz was indicted on one count of making False Statements to the Department of Veterans affairs and will appear in federal court on Concord at a later date.

If he’s found guilty, Stultz would face a sentence of up to five years in prison, up to three years of supervised release, and a maximum fine of $250,000, or twice the gross gain or loss, whichever is greater.
