Train Together!

Train together, stay together! With your significant other, a coworker or a friend, it doesn’t matter, the main thing is that you work out together!

Here are some stats I found about the benefits of working out with a buddy:

Couples who work out separately had a 43% drop out rate while those who went to the gym together had a 6.4% dropout rate.

Women who work out with friends, burn on average 236 calories compared to 195 calories burned in a solo session.

An average workout with a friend lasts 42 minutes, that’s almost 10 minutes more than if you work out alone.

Don’t want to work out in person- no problem!  A virtual buddy can also be great!

Those who exercised with a more capable virtual partner, performed the exercise 24% longer than those without.

So if keeping up with an exercise routine doesn’t come naturally, consider finding a buddy to share in the experience.  A buddy can help boost your motivation when the going gets tough and remember, you will do the same for someone else when needed!
