Having a Great Zoom Party
Having a Great Zoom Party

Who ever thought we would have zoom Christmases?

Well, it’s a very common thing and if you are participating in one this year, why not make the most of it?

It doesn’t mean it has to be a boring, business-like online call with the fam. You can still add all the spirit, fun, and sense of togetherness to a Zoom family holiday celebration, just like you would in person.

Even though you can have 1000 people on zoom, many resources say you should cap it at 10.  This is so everyone can have a chance to chime in and be heard.

Think about when you go to a party or celebration…lots of people get made up and dressed up. Why not do this for your zoom celebration.  Instead of rolling out of bed and showing up in pajamas, get in the holiday spirit with somehting fun and celebratory!

Organizing any holiday get together can be stressful. So, remember to add to your to-do list to have fun. Laugh, eat, drink, and be merry. Have a gingerbread house competition, share recipes for leftovers, and spill the latest over dessert and coffee. Play a random game, or just play catch up with everyone for hours. The idea is to share some heartfelt and happy times with your favorite people.
